Ball is a simple, ARI-generated game frequently played by Norman Jayden. It appears in the chapter "Welcome, Norman." When playing it, a ball materializes in Norman's hand, and then a wall generates in front of him and a score counter appears next to him. The goal is to throw the ball at the wall and then catch it as it rebounds. In the game, the player does this by simply moving the controller down. 1 point is added to the score counter every time this is done. Jayden's score when the player starts the chapter is an enormous 21,105. Considering that only 1 point is awarded for every catch, that means Norman spends an unhealthy amount of time playing Ball.
Ball doesn't have to be played; it is simply for passing the time while waiting for Captain Perry to arrive.
