Chewies

Chewies are a fictional type of candy in the Heavy Rain universe. Several flavors of Chewies are available, but only strawberry and marshmallow are ever mentioned.

Chewies are seen when Ethan Mars takes his son, Shaun, to the park, where he can purchase a packet of strawberry Chewies from a vendor. Shaun says that while he hates strawberry Chewies, he loves marshmallow ones, which his mother would have known. When Ethan gets ready to take the strawberry Chewies back to the vendor and exchange them, Shaun takes them from his hand and says, "Thanks. It was nice of you anyway." Ethan is ashamed of himself for not knowing which flavors Shaun likes, and one of his thoughts is that he doesn't know his own son anymore.

Chewies can be purchased when you ask Shaun if he's hungry. You must purchase them in order to earn the "Good Friends" trophy.
